SnapNames.com Snaps A Few Domains For Its Own Use
While I was browsing through the expired domain name lists the other day, I noticed that SnapAuctions.com and SnapAuction.com expired recently and were dropped. Guess who snapped those two names, none other than SnapNames.com. SnapNames has become very active in live and online auctions since their acquisition by Oversee.net and these domains are a perfect fit for their new focus, in addition to their traditional expertise in drop name auctions.

Ron Jackson, the publisher and editor of DNJournal.com, has profiled Lawrence Ng, the CEO and Co-founder of Oversee.net, for the latest cover story. Oversee.net is a major player in domain sales and auctions, online advertising, and lead origination. Some of the most recognizable domain industry brands like snapnames.com, domainsponsor.com and Moniker are owned by them. Lawrence Ng, along with his co-founder Fred Hsu have built this company from scratch with a humble investment of $10,000 in 2000. Oversee.net currently has revenues in the $200 million range, and Mr. Ng is not even thirty years old. This is an inspiring story of success and entrepreneurship from our own industry.
